7.Check for any rain, wind and/or erosion damage

8.Check interior thermostat and air filters
Why? Have your home temperature ready for your visit, reduce utility costs, air circulation obstructed and air quality reduced by dirty air filters, reduces dust and other allergens, reduces possibility of frozen water lines in home
9.Check electric panel, verify breaker off for water
Why? Panel may have tripped during power outage, turning water pump breaker off reduces possibility of water damage
10.Check for propane or gas odor
Why? Gaskets on propane and gas lines can dry out and expose premises to elevated levels of gas in home causing a very dangerous situation if undetected
